Mailoo

An open-source MCP server that gives AI assistants and agents email: read, search, send, schedule and organise mail over IMAP and SMTP, across several accounts.

Run it

With Node.js 24 or newer, add an account, then start the server over stdio:

npx -y @bitfloo/mailoo account add
npx -y @bitfloo/mailoo

Or run the container image with that config mounted:

docker run --rm -i \
  -v ~/.config/mailoo:/home/node/.config/mailoo:ro \
  ghcr.io/bitfloo/mailoo

Counting is opt-in: a server sends one request only when started with MAILOO_INSTALL_COUNTER=1 and MAILOO_INSTALL_COUNTER_URL set, and that request carries only the product name, the Mailoo version, the event install and the Node.js major version. No IP address is stored, and this site keeps no access log.
